The fully-automatic PLS90 laser line tool from Pacific Laser Systems is designed specifically to make it simple for you to lay out perfect 90-degree angles without the use of time-consuming calculations or sagging, error-prone string lines. The PLS90 relies on easy-to-see laser lines and advanced features to deliver consistent, effort- and money-saving layout performance prized by construction professionals.

This laser line tool measures 5 x 2-1/4 x 4-1/2-inches and weights just 1.7 pounds, so it practically fits in the palm of your hand. This kit package includes a tripod plus the SLD laser detector for expanded utility in exterior applications (in addition to a hard carry case). It's also available in a system package with the SLD laser detector and as a tool only (no tripod or SLD). For your convenience, the PLS90 is powered by three standard AA-sized batteries (included), and it can run over 30 hours between battery changes. All PLS tools are designed and manufactured to meet strict quality control guidelines, and the PLS90 is backed by a three-year limited warranty.

Whether you're setting concrete forms or finishing up a framing project, you know that laying out squares and performing quality-control checks can be some of the toughest, most time-consuming components of any construction project. That's where the PLS90 comes in: this laser line tool makes it easy to identify and layout precise 90-degree angles, so you can get work underway quickly, accurately, and without depending on complicated, time-consuming, or error-prone setups.
This 90-degree layout tool makes use of lines, not hard-to-track dots, and its industry-leading brightness makes sure that these lines are easy to see across the laser's working range of over 100 feet indoors (range dependent on lighting conditions). A new up-beam now makes for additional utility for interior wall framing. For added convenience, an easy-to-operate adjustment wheel is built into the tool for quick, accurate alignment over a second layout point. The PLS90 is accurate to within 1/8-inch over 100 feet.
For effective outdoor use, the PLS90 offers a pulse setting that works with the included SLD detector to deliver reliable readings over distances of up to 250 feet and in bright light conditions. This kit also includes a professional-quality PLS tripod for reliable support and added versatility around the job site.
Additionally, PLS offers the 20764 large reflective target (not included), a true must-have accessory for outdoor work. When this 12-inch square target is placed over a layout point down range and the PLS90 is mounted on a tripod over the first layout point, the adjustment wheel can be used to align the laser visibly outdoors. This critical step allows you to use the tool with the detector and read the line coming out at a 90 degree angle at any elevation. This makes the PLS90 Kit ideal for step down foundations and all exterior squaring to 250 feet where elevation changes make using a square point layout laser frustrating.
PLS Benchmark Dampening Ensures Consistent, Reliable Layout Results
Like all PLS point and line laser alignment tools, the PLS90 is fully self-leveling, and it takes full advantage of the patented PLS pendulum design and magnetic dampening to deliver real, usable results. Dampening is the settling down effect on the laser beam, and thanks to this advanced technology, all PLS point and line lasers settle down instantly when moved to a new layout point.
Additionally, this system compensates for job site vibrations caused by compressors, generators, and other heavy equipment, preventing the laser point from "jumping" around and ensuring that your laser delivers accurate, usable information. Three-Year Limited Warranty
